MAL COMUNE MEZZO…..?

Leggo sul blog di Scott Rosemberg che qualche giorno fa la sua fotocamera, una Nikon Coolpix 775 (come la mia!) si e’ improvvisamente rotta (come la mia!). Ha semplicemente smesso di funzionare mostrando sul display un bel messaggio rosso di System Error (come e’ successo a me!). Si tratta di un difettuccio molto comune a queste fotocamere come si puo’ vedere dando una occhiata su Google. Ecco cosa ne pensa Rosemberg:

This is yet another example of a fundamental principle of digital gadgets: They’re great until they break. Once they break, more often than not, there’s little the hapless consumer can do. Mechanical gadgets are susceptible to mechanical fixes. Digital devices are opaque black boxes, manufactured under the assumption that the consumer will replace them every 2-3 years so there’s no sense making them too durable. But I think next time I’ll buy a Canon.

Personalmente ho gia’ una stampante Canon. E mi basta.
